It’s important to tell the truth – for us, it’s the basis of who we are. We believe transparency and responsibility are necessary -- though often lacking -- components of any food industry. What you see on the label of a Schoolhouse Gluten-free product is what you get. Our products are made by hand and in small batches, using ethically sourced natural whole foods of the highest quality. We've designed our recipes to improve your health with ingredients rich in protein, fibre, anti-oxidants, omega-3 fatty acids and whole gluten-free grains.



We have strict allergen management policies and practices. First and foremost, the ingredients we use come from a guaranteed gluten-free source and our products are created in a dedicated gluten-free kitchen. 


It is our goal to make our products as affordable as possible for you. Food sensitivities do not discriminate and we believe that everyone has a right to access the food that is necessary for their health and well-being.  

We aim to be more than just producers of gourmet gluten-free foods. We want to be a resource and support network for our customers. We constantly work to add more resources, links, local contacts and information on our website to guide you through the vast world of gluten-free eating.   

Whether it is providing support to our customers at the Farmers' Market or helping independent retailers or cafes understand how to put an allergen management practice in place, we are on the look out for ways to educate folks on what it means to be gluten-free!
We also support events, associations and like-minded local small businesses with donations, whenever we can.

Local Sourcing

We support local producers and farmers by buying local ingredients, as much as possible. We want to foster and encourage the consumption of local foods and the benefit this brings to our overall health, not to mention the multitudes of positive social, economic and environmental impacts. In our business, safe, gluten-free ingredients is our #1 priority.  We constantly review our sources and look to establish, promote and buy local gluten-free ingredients as much as possible.
